We all know that Filipinos, with some exceptions, need to pay the Philippine Travel Tax when flying abroad.
So for us flying to our overseas vacations, we must pay at least 1620 pesos in taxes before our flights. Many of us pay the Philippine Travel Tax at the airport on the day of our flight. They just head out to the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) desk located inside the airport. But paying there can cost you time and there are a possibility that the line can get long specially during peak season.
One option of paying the Philippine Travel Tax is via online transactions.
You can pay your travel tax during your online booking… say there is an ongoing PISO FARE and you got a Cebu Pacific Air Piso Seat Sale round trip tickets to Singapore. During your booking, you can ADD the Philippine Travel Tax to your bill and save some time from falling in line at the TIEZA Counter before your flight!!!
But what happens when your flight go cancelled, or there are emergencies that you can’t use your tickets anymore?
