Philippine Airlines is introducing a new way to pay for myPAL Travel Boost like paying for checked baggage allowance, meal upgrade, pre-selected seat, and that is by using Miles! Yes, you can now use the earned miles from your previous flown flights in this carrier, not only for buying a new ticket but also as payment method for select add-ons. This offer is only for the Domestic flights right now.
You can redeem through any PAL Ticket Office or by calling their customer service hotline. If you choose to redeem via a ticketing office, make sure to bring a valid ID. You will also be asked to complete the myPAL Travel Boost Redemption Form.
If you bought the ticket via online booking – website or app – it’s best to call PAL within the day, on working hours to make a Mabuhay Miles redemption for myPAL Travel Boost. This way you will enjoy the miles-requirement for Initial Booking.

myPAL Travel Boost – BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
If you need to add more baggage allowance, pay it with miles! Take note that the miles requirement to redeem differs:
- Redeeming alongside booking your domestic flight or within the day of booking (Initial Booking)
- Redeeming after your ticket is already confirmed (Post Booking)
The second option requires higher number of miles for redemption.

*Only one prepaid baggage redemption is allowed per flight. Say you have redeemed for additional 10 kilos, you can’t make another redemption for 20 kilos, etc.

The corresponding Miles will be deducted from the member’s Mabuhay Miles account balance at the time of redemption. A 12% VAT will be charged for myPAL Travel Boost miles redemption.
All redeemed ancillaries like additional baggage, pre-selected seats, meal upgrade are non-refundable except in cases of flight disruption, cancellation, or irregular operations.
You can use your miles to pay for ancillary only for yourself. You can’t use your miles to pay for family and friends’ upgrades even if you are in a single group itinerary.
