More About Hand Carry Baggage
Cebu Pacific is now very strict with regards to hand carry baggage. The new policy reads:
“Passengers are allowed ONE carry-on or hand-carry baggage inside the cabin, with a MAXIMUM weight of seven (7) kilograms and dimension of up to 56cm x 36cm x 23cm. This dimension includes most wheeled cabin bags and backpacks. The hand-carry baggage must fit inside the overhead bin.
In addition to one carry-on or hand-carry baggage, each passenger may also bring ONE small bag not exceeding 35cm x 20cm x 20cm. This includes handbags, purses and laptop bags that can fit under the seat.
Please take note that at any time, even if you are already in the boarding gate, a Cebu Pacific staff may call your attention and weigh your baggage while you watch. If found to have exceed the allowed 7 kilos hand-carry, you will have no choice but to pay for the airport baggage fee, which is minimum of P1,000.
Prepaid baggage can be bought at 20 Kilos, 32 Kilos, and 40 Kilos during booking of ticket and also via Manage Booking up to 4 hours before the flight is scheduled to depart.
